Adding Your First Pet

Adding your first pet to PetCircle is quick and easy. Follow these simple steps to get started: STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE 1. Navigate to the Pets Tab Open PetCircle and tap on the "Pets" tab in the bottom navigation. You'll see an empty state with a welcome message. 2. Tap the Add Pet Button Look for the "+" button in the top right corner and tap it to open the "Add Pet" form. 3. Fill in Basic Information Required Information: • Pet Name: Choose a name for your pet • Pet Type: Select from Dog, Cat, Bird, Fish, or Other • Breed: Enter your pet's breed (optional but recommended) Optional Information: • Birthday: Set your pet's birth date for age tracking • Weight: Record current weight with unit preference (lbs/kg) • Photo: Add a profile picture by tapping the camera icon 4. Save Your Pet Review the information you've entered and tap "Save" to add your pet to PetCircle. AFTER ADDING YOUR PET Once you've added your first pet, you can: • Set up feeding reminders in the Reminders tab • Record health information in the Health tab • Invite family members to help with pet care • Track daily activities and mood TIPS FOR SUCCESS • Use clear photos: A good profile picture helps you and collaborators quickly identify your pet • Be accurate with dates: Correct birthday and medical dates ensure accurate health tracking • Start simple: You can always edit and add more information later TROUBLESHOOTING Can't save your pet? • Make sure you've filled in the required fields (Name and Type) • Check your internet connection • Try closing and reopening the app Photo not uploading? • Ensure PetCircle has camera/photo permissions • Try selecting a different photo • Check available storage space on your device Need more help?
