Privacy Policy

PetCircle ("we") provides the PetCircle mobile application and petcircle.app website. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.

What we collect

• Account data: email address, name, and authentication identifiers (including Sign in with Apple or Google identifiers if you use them).
• Pet data you enter: pet profiles, photos, health records, reminders, daily logs, and symptom descriptions you submit to the AI health assistant.
• Purchase data: subscription status and App Store receipt data used to verify your purchase. Payment is processed by Apple; we never see your card details.
• Diagnostics: crash reports and error logs (via Sentry) used solely to fix defects.
• Device data: device identifiers used for account security (single-device session enforcement).

How we use it

To provide the service: sync your data across devices, share pets with people you invite, send reminders and notifications you configure, process AI symptom assessments, and verify subscriptions. We do not sell your data and do not use it for third-party advertising or cross-app tracking.

AI processing

Symptom descriptions and basic pet details (species, breed, age, weight) are sent to our AI provider (OpenAI) via our servers to generate an assessment. AI output is informational and never a substitute for professional veterinary care.

Storage and security

Data is stored with Supabase (managed Postgres) with encryption in transit and at rest, protected by row-level security.

Sharing

Pet data is visible to people you explicitly invite as collaborators. Service providers (Supabase, Sentry, OpenAI, Apple) process data only as needed to provide the service.

Your rights

You can export or correct your data in the app, and permanently delete your account and all associated data from Profile → Delete Account. For questions or requests: support@petcircle.app.

Children

PetCircle is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

We will post any changes to this policy on this page with an updated effective date.
